Patience endured bitter cold wind, starvation and the inside of my van (which can be frightening). Thanks for hanging in there, Patience! These images are gorgeous.
Took a long break from blogging...didn't mean to! Today I'm working on some senior orders and loved this image. Oxidation is an amazing background texture...
Karissa's features are so soft and beautiful--it was fun to photograph her in grungy "ugly" hard backgrounds. Her boyfriend, Zach, was there for the 3-location shoot, helping as my light tech! He makes her laugh too, which made images like this one happen...
Raelee chose these locations, places she spends alot of time, so her images are all very natural and fun. As an extra bonus for her, she found her new Christmas present jacket at the snowboard shop--not the furry one. Thanks to Eco Lounge and the Capital HS pottery instructor for letting us use these locations!
Kaytlan wore the rattiest shoes I've ever seen and her favorite pants which were held together by a safety pin and a shoelace--totally cool...I love her style!!!
This location was perfect for Kaytlan's outdoor shoot but it's getting a little late in the fall for outdoor portraits in a whispy dress (she got it at a thrift store so we could rip it and smear black paint on the bottom)! We actually had to hide out for awhile playing some boring game called "triangle" that my assistant, Christy seemed to have made up on the fly. When the rain stopped it was worth the wait!! Here are two samples...
